Things We Like About Barclays Arrival® Premier World Elite Mastercard®
Earn unlimited 2X miles on every purchase. No matter whether you are dining out at restaurants, chilling at a bar, shopping for groceries or booking travel, you will earn miles on all your purchases. The more you use your card, the more miles you will earn. This is a fuss-free card you can consider if you want to earn miles on everything you spend on, minus credits, returns and adjustments.
Earn up to 25,000 loyalty bonus miles each year. You will earn 15,000 miles when you spend $15,000 on purchases. After you spend an extra $10,000 on purchases, you will receive an extra 10,000 bonus miles. These loyalty bonus miles that you earn are in addition to the unlimited 2X miles you earn on your purchases, so if you spend $25,000 in purchases each year you could earn 75,000 bonus miles. What are these miles worth? 75,000 miles are worth $750 toward a qualifying travel purchase if you choose to redeem your miles for travel statement credits.
Miles do not expire. As long as your account is open, in good condition and active, and as long as the program is in effect, you do not have to worry about your miles expiring.
Flexible miles redemption. You enjoy the flexibility of using your miles in a number of different ways. You can redeem your miles for travel or cash back statement credits, merchandise and gift cards. Redeeming your miles for travel statement credits offers the best value, though. Travel statement credit redemptions begin at 10,000 miles for $100 towards a qualifying travel purchase of $100 or more made within the last 120 days. On the other hand, cash back statement credits and gift card redemptions begin at 5,000 miles for $25.
Transfer your miles to participating travel loyalty programs. If you want, you can transfer your miles to a participating travel loyalty program account belonging to you. Keep in mind that all miles transfers are not refundable or reversible, and your miles will be subject to the T&Cs of the travel loyalty program you have transferred them to.
Global Entry application fee credit. This perk is an awesome one that frequent travelers will surely appreciate. Cardholders will receive a $100 automatic statement credit for the cost of one Global Entry application fee every five years, once the fee is charged to your account. Global Entry Membership lets international travelers enjoy expedited entry upon arrival in the United States. Approved Global Entry members can use the automated kiosks in most major airports in the United States, rather than having to go through the traditional arrival process.
No foreign transaction fees. This is yet another amazing perk that you will benefit from when you travel overseas. Barclays Arrival® Premier World Elite Mastercard® is great because you can save on paying foreign transaction fees on purchases made while traveling abroad. Credit cards that charge this fee typically levy a fee of about 3% on foreign currency transactions. This extra charge can easily add up, especially if you travel overseas frequently.
Mastercard Airport Experiences provided by Lounge Key boosts your travel experience as it gives you access to over 850 airport lounges worldwide. Fees, however, will apply. These 'pay as you go' lounge visits will cost you $27 per visit, though there could be select offers from participating airport merchants.
International Chip and PIN-enabled. The chip card offers you a more secure, convenient way to make purchases in the United States and abroad. It decreases fraud risk and makes your card difficult to counterfeit. In addition, more than 130 countries have already made the switch to chip, so you will enjoy maximum global acceptance with your chip and PIN-enabled credit card at self-service chip terminals worldwide.
$0 Fraud Liability. You will not have to pay for any fraudulent transactions made on your card if it is lost or stolen. You will not be responsible for unauthorized charges reported to the bank.
Complimentary online FICO® score access. This benefit lets you keep track of your credit score easily as long as your account with Barclays is open, in good standing, and active. You will also receive email alerts when your credit score has changed.
