I travel on Airfrance and I think amex has an airfrance skymiles card... any info ?

April Briggs San Miguel
We have the Amex Preferred Blue card, our current reward balance is around $600. We are given the option to either apply the $600 as a statement credit or purchase gift cards. Is the reward simply $1 for $1 value in either gift cards or statement credit? Are there any gift cards offered that would have more value than the dollar amount? Hopefully I'm making sense about this question.
