On March 8, Qatar Airways finally showed off its spanking new Business Class product, QSuite. Qatar Airways Group CEO unveiled the highly anticipated new seats at the ITB Berlin travel industry trade show. The airline has a unique and patented design, and it offers more personalization, choice and privacy for passengers.
Qatar Airways decided to go with the two-class layout on all of its planes a couple of years ago, with the exception of seven Airbus A380s. As a result, the airline spent a lot of its resources and time investing in its Business and Economy class offerings. And because of Qatar's commitment to excellence, it isn't hard to see why Skytrax, a consumer aviation website, has named Qatar Airways for having the best Business Class in the world.
The spaces for each flyer are customizable and can be conjoined to create a double bed in QSuite. Travelers can even create a cabin within a cabin and connect four individual suites into a private space for people who are traveling together.
While flying in a customizable cabin is great in itself, passengers will also enjoy more comfort thanks to hand-stitched Italian leather seats. Travelers will also be entertained with the Oryx One in-flight entertainment system, which comes with over 3,000 content choices – from games, to music and of course films and TV shows.
Coupled with an expanded menu and more choices of food and beverages, travelers flying QSuite on Qatar will certainly feel spoiled. Not only that, people flying at night will receive pajamas by The White Company.
If you are excited to fly in style and comfort, you may have to wait a bit. The airline plans to start retro-fitting planes beginning in June, but with 194 planes in its fleet, it may be a while before you get to experience QSuite in real life.
