Google Home is like your own personal assistant. With a voice-activated speaker, you can get real-time answers to important questions, including information on the latest weather and traffic updates, as well as sports scores and business news. But, now, you can do even more with your Google Home device. Google just released a cool feature which lets you search for flights and even track prices.
To get started, Google Home users simply need to get the device's attention by saying "OK Google. Then, users can ask, for example, "How much are flights to San Diego from July 10 to July 16", and the innovative assistant will respond with prices for flights corresponding to the dates requested.
Since the Google Home device searches for flights via Google Flights, you will have a lot of options. The device also gives users the option to track prices and receive emails. Additionally, it can help you plan other parts of your trip by telling you the best time to visit a place, visa rules about the country you are visiting and more.
When the time comes for you to head to the airport, Google Home will be more than happy to remind you about your flight times, give you traffic information and even arrange an Uber or Lyft ride to the airport.
While Google Home allows you to search for flights and start planning, you aren't able to book flights using the device. Once you find the flight you want to book, go ahead and use a device that allows you to book, such as a computer, tablet or smartphone.
