Flying Around The World For FREE (almost)

Hi, we are Pedro Pla and Grace Cheng, frequent flyers, travel hackers, credit card geeks and husband-and-wife co-founders of GET.com.

In 2016, we earned more than 1 million miles solely through the smart use of our credit cards. No mileage runs, no hectic flying. Out of the 1 million+ miles we accumulated in 2016, we have redeemed 960,000 miles for 4 Round-the-World (RTW) tickets on Business Class on Star Alliance to 5 continents. That's US$54,000 worth of air tickets for FREE (well almost, we only had to pay taxes and fees), just by us crazily collecting air miles. We'll use these free tickets to travel Africa, Europe, South America, North America and Asia for 6 months with our two toddlers, starting January 2017.

How We Rate Credit Cards

At GET.com we compare credit cards and rate them objectively based on the credit card's features, interest rates and fees.

Cards are rated by our team based primarily on the basis of value for money to the cardholder. The GET.com team rates each card based on its annual fee, rewards, benefits, bonus, introductory APR, ongoing APR, flexibility (in how its benefits can be used and how rewards are earned and redeemed), and other card features.
